For your eyes only

Eyes are windows to your soul. And you know what helps you draw people’s attention to your eyes? Eye make-up! It can be simple or as elaborate as you want it to be. Learning how to do it is important especially if you want to look professional or stylish while keeping a tight budget. Eye-make up can do amazing things since you can easily manipulate it to match your over-all look.

Basically, you will need a few products to complete the eye make-up application. These products are eye liner, concealer, mascara, eye shadow primer, and  2-3 eye shadow tones. You may also add false eye lashes for a more dramatic experience.

All of these products are available in department stores, drug stores, and on online shops. If you’re a beginner, you may ask beauty consultants on the right shadows and tones for you. And since you are still about to discover the best for your eyes, better buy less expensive products first before investing on the right one.

Now, let’s take on the process. Start by applying the foundation and concealer to even your skin tone. Eye shadows are usually bought in 3 shadows from light to dark. Apply the lightest shade to your brow bone, inner corners, and the upper part of the eyelid. The medium shade is applied towards the inside corner. The darkest shade will go out in the outer area of the eye to add dimension.

Next, you will apply the eyeliner to the top of your eyelid starting from the middle of your eye towards the
outer corner of the eye. To make your lashes look fuller, put small and light strokes of mascara on your lashes. You can do more than one coat to achieve the volume you want. Then you can add false eyelashes if you have thin lashes. Voila, you're now ready to see the world.
